Wow, I can't believe that it's already 2009- the year of Grady! It's starting to hit me that it's time to start getting ready for this kid's arrival! Now that we had the furniture, we figured it was time to start putting the nursery together. We're definitely not done, but we're getting there. Here's some pics for Derek working hard to put the crib and changing table together. I worked hard too of course- taking pictures. I assisted in any way necessary too. :)

- registering at Babies r Us & Target
- getting a shower date (thank you Betty, Ronna, Mom, & aunties!)
- signing up for baby care class, a labor and hospital tour, and breastfeeding class
- starting the baby/ before baby book
- looking into day care (this is already making me sad...for many reasons, all the cute babies there with no parents- i don't want to be the parent that is leaving my baby, and the MONEY) We actually think that we'll probably go with a parent at my work who babysits a couple of other kids and would love to watch Grady too, but we're just trying to get some price ranges and ideas for now. ***Dad! We'd love you to watch him too! You retired man, you!
Last but not least, we spent New Year's up in Wofford Heights with my parents, Tara, Mesha, Neo, & Wednesday, and the Mitas Family. Here's a fun pic in the snow with our snowman and adorable cousins! Happy New Year everyone!
