Daddy's in heaven: He' s got Grady, beer, and Pizza Port pizza!
The visitors also continued through the weekend! Uncle Jeff and Aunti Kenzi came to visit, and Grandma and Grandpa Dake were back again to get their Grady fix. His uncle and aunt turned out to be naturals (especially Kenzi), and we let them babysit as much as they wanted while we did things around the house. So nice. Jeff even changed a poopy diaper by the weekend's end. So proud of you Uncle Jeff! We had a good time through the blazing hot weekend: BBQing and dipping our legs in the pool. Derek was the only one brave enough to jump in the freezing waters. :) After the record high 100 degree weather though, we're ready for a cool down!

Grady continues to be a good little baby. He is sleeping more and more at night (thank the lord for this!) Most night's we get in a 4 hour sleep following by a 3 hour shift, and then usually another 2 hours. Mama likes this since Daddy is back at work now. Grady and I have been snoozing together for those last 2 hours (usually 7-9am) and I am feeling much more normal now, not so tired! Baby G makes lots of funny faces and noises while he sleeps and is quite the stretcher when he awakes. I will leave you with some of his sleeping faces/ positions.

Yay! Mommy gets to sleep! So glad we could allow you and Derek to get some stuff done! Jeff and I had a lot of fun seeing you guys. Let me know when you need some more babysitting time...I can plan ahead if given enough heads-up! :)
He is adorable! I remember those shifts of sleeping and believe me, things get better each day. You sound happy and he is just such a cutie pie. Hope to get down to SD soon. You can see pics of Parker on our blog courtneyhaedrich.blogspot.com. Enjoy every moment!!
