Busy Weekends!

Now that I'm back at work, weekends have taken on a whole new meaning. Try to clean the house, grade papers, go shopping, and of course hangout as much as possible with Grady & Derek! This weekend we were even more busy. We watched Mesha and Neo all weekend while Tara went to a conference. We decided to go the zoo on Saturday, and my mom came too (thank goodness...how do people have 3 kids?). Boy did little man love it! He loves being out and about. He checked out some animals and lots of people. He especially loved riding in the Baby Bjorn on his daddy. Here's us at the zoo:

Grandma reading to G after the zoo!
Other highlights of the week were:
  • We took Grady to the babysitter on Thursday for a test run. I dropped him off in the morning and then we both picked him up at lunchtime. Grady did great. He even slept for a whole hour for Mrs. Lisa. She took pics of him and texted them to us throughout the day. They loved each other. SUCCESS! I'm not even that nervous/sad to take him tomorrow morning!
  • Grady seems to have found his feet. I give it a few days before they're in his mouth. Hopefully pics of that soon.
  • Grady can roll over pretty easily from tummy to back. He never even tries to go back to tummy anymore. He doesn't seem to think there's a point. He's much better on his tummy now, but still isn't a huge fan of it. I caught some pics of him rolling. He hasn't done it on video for us yet.
He always has that thumb in his mouth now!Daddy took G to the park this week!
Found the remote!Oh, am I not supposed to have this?
We just think he looks hilarious here.

Derek caught me doing two things at once. Laundry and carrying the baby. Hey, he liked it! And it's clean laundry! :)

He looks cute in all his pictures. Glad everyone is easing into the new schedule. It must be a relief. Kiss him for us.
