Halloween/Race for the Cure Weekend!
It started on Friday. I brought Grady to school with me in the morning for our "Literature Parade" (it's a Halloween parade, but you're supposed to be dressed up like a book). The staff was "Old MacDonald Had a Farm." What's a farm without a turkey? Grady was absolutely loving it, as you can see in this picture. Not the best pic of me, but this shows his enthusiasm. He's the most popular baby. The entire 6th grade was chanting his name when we paraded by. He was eating it up!
Here are the pumpkins that D and I carved!
We were "Thanksgiving" for Halloween! I know, we're big dorks. But, it was fun! Don't ask, I'm not sure what Native Americans have red hair. We never got around to getting the right wig, so this one had to do!
We took Grady Trick'or'Treating for his first time! Cousins Tara, Mesha and Neo joined us. We totally scored candy......cuz Grady can't eat it yet! Suckas!!! :)
We had the whole fam at the house that night since it was "Race for the Cure eve." It worked out so well, because everyone got to see Grady on his first Halloween, and we had cousins to Trick'orTreat with! When we got back, we celebrated (great) Grandpa's birthday! PS-Happy belated Birthday to Poppa Stephens, and Happy Birthday tomorrow to Uncle Jeff!!!
Grandpa Mike got to read a bedtime story.
The next morning we heading out early for the annual "Race for the Cure!" Love that the time changed today....so it wasn't quite so early!
Cousins! OK, my camera battery died early, but how did I not get a picture of my mom on "Team Becky" day??? Sorry mom! We love you! You are an amazing survivor!
This is my favorite! Avery is potty-training right now, so when you gotta go, you gotta go! Even if it's on the side of the 163 freeway during the 5K! Thanks for coming Anna, Avery, & Owen!
Grady loved it- looking at all the people and relaxing in the stroller. It wore him out! So proud of him for completing his first 5k!
After the walk, everyone came over for brunch and some hangout time. My parents brought Blondie, and Grady loves her! He was crawling after her all weekend. He's getting pretty good!
Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend! We sure did, but man, I am wiped! So busy! The clock says 8:30....but my body knows it's 9:30, so Goodnight!
