I hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays as much as we have! Once we got through Grady's being sick, the Christmas celebrations began. Here's the first one at my parent's house with the whole Brockett side of the family.
Uncle "Duncle" Ed carving the turkey!

Present time!
The next Christmas celebration was with Mandy- we did presents and had lunch before we took her to the airport for her trip to Napa.
The next day was Christmas with Jeff and Kenzi since they were with her family on Christmas day. They came down and we went to the zoo at night special- "Jungle Bells," and did presents yet again.

Grady loved his gift from them- this fun walker/ ride-on lion! He plays music and lights up- G loves him!

Tara and the kids joined us at the zoo!
On Christmas Eve we had dinner at The Boathouse in Coronado, and we walked around the Hotel Del Coronado too. It was beautiful! We had a great dinner with Tara, her Nama, Mesha, Neo, my Mom, Dad, and G!
At the Hotel Del. Note Grady's adorable Christmas outfit. :)

Grady and Neo had a great time together at dinner. It was so cute. Grady would try to copy Neo. The two of them kept each other busy the whole time. They were both so good.
Santa definitely came to our house that night!!!
G had his first kolache, one of our family traditions- we make apple ones for Christmas. He loved them! (Mom & dad....check out this link! we have to go to one of the kolache festivals! put it on the list! i wonder if grandma learned about these in Iowa...?)
We had a fun Christmas morning, but boy was that boy spoiled! So many presents! Thank you to G's Grammy & Poppa, and Grandma & Grandpa for making his first Christmas so special! So many fun and cute gifts!
It took us from about 7:30am- 12:00pm to open everything. Grady wasn't super fast at opening, then we'd play for a few minutes, then open another, then time for some breakfast....open and play some more, then time for a nap....open and play some more, and then finally done!

Quite possibly the preferred toy of the morning- we all could have saved our money! :)

Are you kidding me???
Still loving the dog!
Perfect gift- in fact BOTH Derek and I got him one!!! Look at that boy dunk! He's a natural!
Second nap of the morning- this was one tired boy!!!
