Hallelujah! School's out and we're on break! I've got 3 weeks off (yay!) and Derek's got 2. We're so happy to have some down time and family time! We're looking forward to Grady's first Christmas, and so is he! He's already been having a blast with boxes around the house as gifts arrive in the mail. They can keep him busy for a surprisingly long time.
Last weekend was our annual Family Bake Day at Aunt Lainie and Uncle Ed's house. So much fun as always. We ate lots of treats, and helped a little in the kitchen (a very little...good thing those aunties kept busy!)
Here's the whole gang! The self-timer picture idea kind of worked...we know you were there Aunt Lainie! :)

Grady had tons of fun with his cousins like always.
He got ANOTHER early Christmas gift. Thanks Grandma.
Grandpa helped clean up!
Assembly line.
My favorite part.... decorating the cookies!
This was last weekend....this weekend, I am sorry to announce, Grady has been SICK. His first time being truly sick. Derek and I actually each had to take a half day off yesterday (Friday) to stay home with him, and I took him to the doctor in the afternoon. He has croup. Which if you don't know, is this horrible sounding barking cough. They gave him some medicine (steroids) though that helped with the cough, but we think it made him stay up all night, because that's pretty much what he did. Crying most of the time. He had to sleep in bad with us, and we all got a few hours of sleep, but not much. Grady seems to be feeling a lot better today, so we're hoping for a better night tonight. We need a healthy boy for all the fun holiday festivities coming up! Hope you all are enjoying your fun holiday festivities!!

Grady had tons of fun with his cousins like always.
