Spring Break cont....and Birthday Party!

Wow. I've fallen behind on my blogging. Can you tell that I am back at work? :) So I have many things to catch up on. First of all, we spent the last 4 days of my Spring Break up at the Dake house by the Kern River. We had a great time hanging out with the fam and playing outside- Grady's very favorite thing to do now! He even got to experience his first snow. It was just about 10 miles away from the house. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I think he'll enjoy it more next year- when he can run around in it!

Why is it so coooooold?

Even though this was technically Grady's SECOND Easter, it was still his first time doing most things. Like dying eggs. He was pretty funny. He wants to do everything himself. Not quite ready for dying eggs I don't think.

THEN the MAIN EVENT was last weekend......

First Birthday party!

Check out the cool b-day b-ball outfit! Yes, we had to change throughout the day. :)

No, he didn't get to eat that ginormous cupcake... we just took his pic with it. That one was to share.

This cupcake was for him, and he definitely enjoyed it!

We played outside- luckily it turned out to be a very pretty day!

Even got to splash around the hottub with Grammy (although it was not at all hot)!

Time fore presents! Boy were there a lot. Thank you to everyone for all of Grady's great new clothes and toys! He wasn't real in to opening all the gifts. He definitely needed a little help from his friends. :) Good thing the kids were happy to assist!

PS- The GMan is almost walking....he took a record 10 steps all on his own yesterday! But no repeat performance yet. I know this boy's going to be off and running soon.....scary!
