We have been having an EXTREMELY busy summer! I'm going to have to play catch up here and blog in a few sessions, starting with our trip to Disneyland on July 1st. A huge thank you to Aunt Susie for taking us to D-Land for G's first time. For those of you that don't know, Susie is a Disney Travel Agent and can sign in a certain # of people in to D-Land free a year. Isn't that RAD? So thanks for making our first trip so fun (and affordable) Susie! :)
So here we are on Thursday, July 1st for G's 1st trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
The first thing we did was watch Captain Eo. I was so excited that it was back for a "special tribute." Grady did very well through the movie- even though it was dark and a little scary. But that boy started shaking his thing when Micheal Jackson started singing and dancing. Our boy loves to dance. I am proud to say that this was Grady's first movie in a theater. He's such a big boy!
Then we were off to the Buzz Lightyear ride. So fun! Grady is that tiny bit of blond hair you see under my gun. I was taking my shooting seriously- but please take note of the score and how ridiculously badly I am beating Derek, even with a toddler on my lap!

Grady did not love Casey Jr's Train for some reason....actually it was just about naptime. He fell asleep right after, so no offense Casey Jr.
But his Great-Auntie and Grandma were loving it!
Definitley G's favorite ride of the day: Small World! There were plenty of animals, balloons, and kids to point at and marvel over.
Probably Grady's favorite thing at Disneyland- the balloons! He kept pointing and "talking" about the balloons all day, and finally we found a guy selling them. Of course his Grandma had to buy him one- and what a bargain at only $7! ;)
Overall, the trip was a success! Grady liked it much more than I thought he would, and he was so good all day! On our way out we ran into Goofy and had to snap a pic with the "DAA" (dog). Grady didn't care about the picture, but he was darn excited about the 8 foot tall dog. We love Disneyland!
