Road Trip 2010

So it's back to work tomorrow, and I am NOT excited. Don't get me wrong, I do like my job....it's just that I like summer more. It's so nice to be home with my two favorite guys. Although, we actually weren't home too much this summer....here are some pics from our road trip to Napa, July 5-13.

We stopped by the Pismo Beach/San Luis Obispo area on the way up to visit my Aunt Linda and see Jeff & Kenzi... but we got lucky and got to visit with my cousin Adrian, his lovely wife Dawn, and their adorable daughter Hanna who were visiting from Colorado! We did snap a few pics of Hanna and Grady (they love each other- Hanna was quite the little babysitter), but they're on Derek's phone still...so I'll post next time. Here we are visiting the animals at "The Barn," a awesome farm/ market place in Avila Beach.

G loved it, and well, I did too. We bought the best blueberries that I've ever had in my life there!

Once we were up in Napa, we had lots of time to hangout with Grady's Grammy and Poppa. He really warmed up in no time at all. I really think he remembered them from his bday! They really bonded over the week. I'm sure they both miss each other!

We of course made the rounds visiting people and letting them hang out with G. We saw lots of family and friends. Here we are with Grady's Great Grandparents! With Derek's cousin Kristi.

Over the weekend we met up with Michael (Derek's brother) and his family at Waterworld, a water park near Michael's house.
We weren't sure what Grady would think of it, but he LOVED it right away! He loves being in the water. It would hit him right in the face, but he didn't care! The water was freezing too. Luckily the weather was hot.
Grady's cousin Brynn (who is 5 weeks older than him) also loved the water! Here are the little ones with their Grammy.

And with Poppa! At Michael and Kathie's house after the busy day- just relaxing!
Grady "eating" his cousin Blake.
Story time! They were so cute- Brynn crawled into my lap with a book, and Grady took one look at that and was instantly there too!

Grady's first popsicle. Yum!
We had a great time! Hawaii, Disneyland, Napa.... do you think this 1 year old is spoiled? I do too!!!! Now he gets a few more weeks home with his daddy while I go back to work. Lucky boys!
