Here are some pics of a trip to PetSmart we took last week to visit Amy's sister at work where she's a veterinarian. Seriously, best free field trip ever. Grady loved it there. We may have to hit up PetSmasrt every week. It's the poor-man's zoo. Even better was the fact that Summer did a "check-up" on G's stuffed animals using the dr. kit she gave him for his b-day. So cute.
We had a great weekend, with Grandma & Grandpa coming to visit to let us have a much appreciated "date night." It was so nice to get out for a dinner together and then meet up with friend's for Jen's bday!

On Sunday we then went to a "Casillas (my school) Reunion Party" at the beautiful home of our old secretary. People who worked there for the past 10 years or so were invited. The party was a dream come true for Grady- check it out:
There was a "petting zoo." Grady especially loved the goats, but I didn't get a good pic with them.
Horse rides! I never thought I'd see the day when Derek rode a horse- but here he is! Derek and Grady's first time (according to D).
Tons of toys- he loved the wagon.

Derek had never been on a horse?! Did you tell him our tramatic story of Mushroom head - and the girl and camp staff person who fell off the horse, leaving the two of us to fend for ourselves?
