I've got a lot of it to do. On the blog, around the house, in the yard.... but thank goodness it is now officially SUMMER BREAK! Let the catching up begin!
Here's what you've missed in the past month....
- A trip to Legoland!
- One special little girl turned 9 months old:
- Stats: 28.5 inches, 18 lbs. 2 oz
- Loving: toast, cheese, yogurt, and cantaloupe
- Succeeding at: CRAWLING! Stealing her brother's toys, and putting anything and everything into her mouth!
- Still working on: pulling herself up to standing position (although she loves it if you help her to do so) & taking long naps (sigh)
- Standouts: HUGE blue eyes, crazy hair, and curiosity!
Not always making it through the night in her own bed either....
- The "big" kids are bathing together now, and they both love it!
- We had Mother's Day at my parents' house. Derek had to go up north to see his family for his grandfather's funeral, so we did our family Mother's Day the following weekend. They took me out to a yummy breakfast and got me a new vacuum cleaner! (we needed one!)

- Derek turned 34!!!
- It was a very low-key birthday because he actually had to stay home from work that day with Grady. G got hand foot and mouth disease from the other little boy at daycare. Don't know much about it? We didn't either until Grady got it. There's a link for you for more info in case your curious :) BUT we still had a little birthday party nonetheless!
- K tried out her first pigtails!
- And she's getting into everything! At least G is good about sharing his toys (usually).
