G's Cars Birthday

Grady's birthday fell on Good Friday this year, and so by default, it turned into a two week long celebration. First he got to celebrate with his Grammy and Aunt Mandy when they visited. Then he got to have a class celebration before Spring Break. Next up was the big party at our house, and finally for his "real" birthday, we were up in Kernville with my parents for Easter.
He was so cute when everyone sang to him at his school. He was this adorable mix of embarrassed/happy/proud. It was fun for me to see him in class since I don't usually get to take/pick him up from school! I went out on spring break before him, so it worked out perfectly!

Grady had informed us months before his birthday, that his 4th birthday would be his "Cars birthday." And so it was. We had found this small, race car themed, jumpy house online for a good price, and we just had to get it for him (spoiled, we know). We decided to let him open it the day before the party to make sure that it fit in the backyard and so that we could have everything ready to go. Both he and Kendall love it!

The party was Sunday, March 24th. We had lots of fam & friends over for a fun Cars party!

Craft table- design your own car!

Grady has a mind of his own- he came out of his room wearing a big cowboy hat &  elf slippers, and he pretty much rocked them for the rest of the day.

We really owe our cousins Brian & Meghan for all of the Cars donations they brought. Brian works for Disney and was able to bring a pinata and tons of toy cars for the kids to all take home as party favors!

opening gifts!

It was a great party! We are so lucky to have such a sweet, thoughtful, energetic, creative 4 year old. We are so very proud of him and love him so much! Kernville and Easter to come soon...
