Vacation is finally here!

So I guess it's time to share my blog with others. I have a fear that you all may think it's boring and repetitive, but I promise it will get better once little Sesame is here and I can share pics of her/him. For now, you'll just have to deal with Derek and I. You'll also have to go back to August and read from the beginning when I started. Enjoy your journey back in time!

13 weeks now and I'm starting to feel like a look a little pregnant. Others may disagree, but I can see it! I've gotten some use out of this really cool thing that is basically looks like a tubetop and fits around your waist so that you can leave your pants unbuttoned. Very nice. Thank you Randi and Kristin. It's good to have experienced friends who hook you up with things you would otherwise know nothing about.

Vacation is soooo nice. It's been helping a lot to be able to sleep in and not deal with 31 ten-year-olds on a daily basis. I really do like my class, but I needed a break! I am hoping to be a new woman when I go back in another week and a half. Well rested and in my 2nd trimester. I also have to tell the kids that I am pregnant though, which is weird to me. I don't want them to be worried that I'm leaving, and I also don't want them wondering how this baby got in my belly. They're kind of at that age you know. I'll leave that up to their parents. :)

Sesame was in her 2nd wedding this weekend. Jen and Ryan got married in Temecula and we had a great time. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. RFD! Sesame's a lucky fetus to be in two weddings in her/his very short life! I was also in my cousin Sarah's wedding almost 2 months ago. Derek and I actually found out I was pregnant the day before we left for Colorado. Hope you newlyweds are doing well too!

I go to the doctor again on October 15th, so I'll let you all know if there's anything new to report on! We find out the sex in on Nov. 5th....only about a month away!

Now I have another thing to read instead of studying! :) Don't worry, I think this will be WAY more exciting than reading about my wonderfully boring life! Congrats again you two...I'm so happy for you both and hopefully I'll get to see you sometime soon!

Hello Melissa and Derek and Baby Sesame! I love your blog and will check it all the time. I really do think you are showing a little bit! Just keep eating and sleeping and Derek, it will all be worth it when you get your first glimpse of Baby Sesame! I am really looking forward to Nov 5th! (and I am really going to go to the Walk for the Cure website too) Love, Baby Sesame's Great Auntie Sue Sue (By the way, I will not see the PS movie because just reading your blog made me cry.)

You told me about your blog, but it's fun to actually see it. I'm so excited to be a grandma. Even though I don't look at e-mail very often, I guess I'll have to start. Love, Mom
