5 months!

Grady turned 5 months old this past Saturday! Wow, can't believe it....time flies! His birthday monkey is looking smaller and smaller now that our boy is getting bigger and bigger.

He loves bring on his tummy now. He is rolling back and forth like a pro, and can never decide which side he wants to be on. He "swims" on his tummy, like he really wants to crawl, but just can't figure it out. I'm not ready for him to be mobile yet! I know we have a little while longer, but just as I was getting used to our new busy life, I know that a crawling baby will be even more work! :)

He continues to slobber like nobody's business and put everything into his mouth. It's pretty funny. He's really been interested in our food and drinks lately, so we may try some solids with him soon. The doctor said after 5 months was OK....but again, don't know that I'm in too big of a hurry. We'll probably try after we get back from our next trip this Labor Day weekend. We are off to Napa for Derek's brother Michael's wedding. Grady's first plane trip! Pics to come soon!

Not the best picture....but I had to document this nap. He slept for and HOUR AND A HALF! For those of you that don't know, Grady does not tend to nap for more than 30 minutes....so this was amazing! He also slept all the way through last night from 7pm to 6am....so I'm hoping that continues! He seems fully adjusted to the new work schedule now. :) Jenny's bridal shower was this weekend! Lots of fun....but record temperatures! Good thing we had ice cream cake! It was a good time. The wedding's now only a month away!
