11 months!

Today was Grady's 11 month birthday (kind of....since there's no 29th this month, we made it today)! He's getting to be such a big boy- both in the way he looks AND acts! Here we are today out to lunch with Grandma!

G's really getting the hang of walking around with his lion. He loves it, and will walk around for as long as he can before running into obstacles. If we steer for him, he can last a long time! Here's what I mean about acting like a big boy....he DID NOT want to pose with his birthday monkey today. He kept throwing it. He wasn't mad- just didn't want it. I don't know if that's acting like a big boy necessarily....but like a toddler!

Grandma gave him one of his b-day presents early today so that we could make sure we liked it. His "big boy" car seat! I got a pic of him enjoying trying it out, and then tried again later with the birthday monkey. He wasn't having it, but the picture cracks me up!
(Note the poor monkey on the ground)

Otherwise in the life of the G-Man...

He has been enjoying some of his X-mas presents that we pulled out recently. Love the Legos!
AND he's still making a mess where ever he goes...

AND he started taking a bath in the BIG bathtub this weekend. He loves it!

AND he attended his first "friend" birthday party last weekend. It was a friend that I work with baby's 1st birthday party. Grady had the time of his life. There were other babies to play with, new toys to mess around with, and best of all...STAIRS! He kept crawling off and climbing those stairs. He's good at it too! He just can't get back down of course. Since we don't have stairs, this was very exciting for him! Here he is with his new friends:

With the b-day boy, Zak.

Another friend, Evan.

Something I did notice when we were with the other babies though (who are both older than him), is that G was not afraid to just crawl off and play with the toys, other kids, stairs, etc, while the other two baby boys would barely leave their mamas. I really felt like my kid had way more energy than their kids, and less fear. Uh-Oh. Grady is a little bundle of energy lately- and into everything. Oh, and guess how long he napped today.....a total of 20 minutes! AND he didn't slow down all day! These weekends aren't very restful anymore. But they sure are fun. We love our little 11 month old! Happy last month birthday Grady!!!

Oh my goodness he's so cute! And big! I feel like he's a completely different person since we saw him at x-mas. Hopefully we'll see you soon! Aunt Kenzi and Uncle Jeff love you, Grady!
