We've been taking Grady to "toddler tango" now every Saturday morning for the past 2 months. At first he was shy, but now he's loving it. Singing and dancing and playing instruments! Here he is trying out the triangle with his teacher Ms. Kendra.
We also have gotten good use out of our zoo passes this year. Derek took Grady a few times just the 2 of them during their last weeks of break, and we went to both the Zoo and Wild Animal Park this past month.
He LOVED the carousel at the WAP, so we each took him on once. I think my choice of the hummingbird was the best one.
-"melmo"= Elmo
-"bubaeeee"= blueberry
-"mobo"= motorboat (as in a game in the pool) :)
-"Nonna"= Ronna (so cute)
-"baa"= sheep
-"eieeiooo"= Old Macdonald had a farm
-"MAH!!!" (at the top of his lungs)= Mom, take this away from me now, I do not want it in my sight/ on my tray/ near my carseat
I love Melmo!
And here's the after shot. Notice that I had to sit with him this time. He was NOT a fan of the clippers. He cried and screamed the whole time, despite the bubbles, cookies, and the movie "Cars" playing for us. Hmmmm, I'm not convinced that I love his new hair, but it does make him look like a big boy!
So, last time I blogged, I mentioned the blankie. Now Grady has an entire entourage. His Auntie Amy gave him a doggie and a monkey to sleep with him at night- in hopes that he would go down a little easier, and it's worked! EXCEPT that he takes them everywhere now. Here we are getting ready for bed- it's a full chair- Grady even wanted his new ball to go to bed with us (the blue thing under my arm).
Grady and his entourage in the car.
They even eat with him!
I'll conclude with this adorable pic of G playing with his new friend Kellan over at Ronna's house. They played so well together, I couldn't believe how nicely they shared. We'll have to set up more playdates!
