G's New Room!

Spring break has come and gone and I didn't even get caught up on my blogging! We were too busy! So I'll spend the next couple of posts sharing what we were up to.

• First off was moving Grady into his bog boy room! Mission accomplished in the first few days of break.
  

We got him bunk beds and my friend Tawnya (who is an interior designer) helped us by getting us the furniture at a good price wholesale, which was awesome! Thank you Tawnya! We also got some things for our room too! Here we are in the middle of Derek assembling the bunk beds.

Thanks for making the cute curtains mom! And for the bedding- G's bday present.

Absolutely loving his big boy bed! He just got right in there the first night and slept like a champ! He still after about 2 weeks has not gotten out of the bed on his own. We think he doesn't realize he can! He'll just lay there and play or call for us. He's cool as long as he has his entourage!

• We also went to Sea World on the first Monday of break. Got to love the teacher free passes this year!
  

Auntie Maymie came too! Good thing since neither Derek or I wanted/could go on those teacups!


G was so excited about Big Bird. THEN as soon as it was our turn, he freaked out. Just like with Santa! After a minute we got a partial smile, but he still had a death grip on me with one hand :)

On our way out he asked to take a picture with the polar bear! Maybe he's warming up to the characters after all!
