Catchin' Up With Kendall...

I am now 35 weeks....only 5 more to go (but hoping for more like 4)! Here's me and Kendall at 34 weeks. You'll have to excuse my horrible hair, face with no makeup, and leisurewear. It's summertime people, and I don't do much to myself unless I'm going somewhere. Pretty sure this is post swimming in the pool too.

Just had another doctor's appointment, and everything continues to be good. I will be going back to work soon- July 19, but I'm only going to work until July 29, and then I'm officially on maternity leave! The due date again is August 12th, but I'd be plenty happy if she decided to show up a little early. This whole heat of summer thing and trying to keep up with a 2 year-old thing with a ginormous belly is starting to get old. Thank goodness we have a pool. And Yo-Gabba-Gabba. :)

Kendall's nursery is just about ready too. It looks a lot like the girl version of Grady's nursery :)

We also lucked out with so many hand-me-downs from G's cousin Brynn (thank you Mike & Kathy!) and from our cousin Sofia (thank you Bobby & Betty!), that Kendall has plenty of clothes through 6 months. I'll have to take a pic of her closet next time too... it's pretty full!

For the 4th of July we made a red, white, and blue trifle. It was delicious and fun to make! I'm going to have to find some more trifle recipes. I ate this for dessert on the 4th and also for breakfast the next morning (don't tell anyone). Thanks to Betty for the idea! Hope you all had a fun 4th of July weekend!
