We spent Thanksgiving this year up in the San Luis Obispo area. We had a great time staying at my Aunt Linda's house in Shell Beach, and hanging out at Jeff & Kenzi's in Atascadero. We enjoyed a great BBQed turkey with all the fixings at Jeff & Kenzi's house. We had a great time celebrating Kendall's first Thanksgiving!
The big hit this year, especially with Grady, was the candy-cookie turkeys. I randomly found this idea online, and I think we need to make it a new tradition. They were fun to make!
My mom's was a little "special."

Baby girl got her first bath in the sink! Just like a good turkey should.
Aunt Linda's first time meeting Kendall! They got along very well, and Kendall even let Linda babysit her while we took Grady to his first movie ever! We saw the Muppets. It was a really good movie & G loved it! But Grady really was the one who bonded with Linda. They were very cute together, and he still talks about going to Aunt Linda's house!
At the movies!
Last stop was in Pismo Beach to see the monarch butterflies. Thousands and thousands ( I think the count was like 21,000 that day) of them come here to hangout in the trees during the winter. So pretty!
