We had a low-key 4th of July this year. No fireworks, they're just too late for the kiddos. We made some festive yummy treats and went to our friend's Jenny & Mark's house for a little while for a 4th of July party. Then had a relaxing evening and Derek & I listened (can't see them haha) to the fireworks from the hot tub that night.

Baby Cakes (as we've taken to call her) turned 11 months on July 11th. OMG, that means that the next bday is the BIG O-N-E! How is that possible already! She is crawling like a pro now, pulling herself up on everything and "cruising." I don't think she'll be walking on her first bday, but I don't think it will be too much longer!

that grass is amazing! Sure beats the astro turf the Brady Bunch had :) and turns up fabulous in photos.
Oh goodness! I can't believe she's almost one either! ...and I love Grady's headband! :)
