1st Birthday!

 On August 11th, 2012, our baby girl turned ONE!

The morning of her birthday we just hung out at home and opened a few presents. 

 They were both happy chilling at home and playing with new toys. Kendall loves herself some apples the way. It makes me nervous how she likes to just bite into them, but how can you resist this face? Don't worry, we watch her carefully. :)

That night we went to Oggi's for some birthday pizza with Amy & Tim. The same thing we did for G's first bday!

Sunday we had the big 1st birthday bash at our house! It was a luau themed pool party, and thank goodness people brought their swim suits because it was HOT!!!

We had a funnel cake & smoothie guy at the party. He was awesome! And much appreciated on such a hot day.

Caro got suckered into sharing her water with K!

Kendall was slow to dig in to her cupcake. Probably because she has just feasted on funnel cake. But she did enjoy the frosting!

Post-nap & gift opening (which Grady mostly did). 

 It was a great birthday weekend! 

Can't believe our baby girl is so grown-up! She's working on walking and talking, and just copying everything her big bro does. 

Here are her 1-year old check-up stats: 30.2 inches & 20lbs. 6 oz. Healthy and growing just as she should! We love you Baby Cakes!!!
