I love Fall Break! It's time off when most people don't have time off... that means being able to go places when they are not crowded! The only down part is that Derek does not get a Fall Break, but we convince him to play hooky every now and then. The past few years Amy and I have taken G (& K now) to Julian to pick apples over break. It's become a fun tradition! We now have a routine- Dudley's Bakery on the way, pick apples, eat lunch, have some pie at our favorite pie shop, and visit the pumpkin patch on the way home! This year we recruited our work partner, Mike, to come with. We had a blast! Now I just need to get on that apple crisp I've been meaning to make...
