Halloween Time!

There's always plenty to do around Halloween in San Diego. First off we went to my school's Fall Festival where the kids had a blast. Grady played so many games that we shut the place down. Lots of fun games and goodies to eat.

Next up was trick or treating at Sea World. This has become one of my favorite traditions. It's fun for the kids, and it's cute to see all the little kids dressed up at Sea World. Kendall was into it. She wanted to eat every piece of candy right after she got it. Needless to say, she put away a good amount of treats that afternoon.
           Rapunzel and Jake the pirate

Of course we carved (or painted- much safer) pumpkins a couple of nights before Halloween.

Grady wanted not one, but two Zurg jackolanterns.

And finally the main event- Halloween! The day started with the literature parade at my school and ended with trick or treating around our neighborhood. The kids loved it- and we all were exhausted by the end of the day!
