peas?

Grady has a new word. Well, a few new ones, but this one is my favorite. It's "please." Well, more like "peas," but it's so cute that he's going to get whatever he wants from me as long as he uses "peas?" And yes, it's always a question. Love that he's so polite. He's also started on "thank you," but it's not really in the rotation yet. We're working on it.

So here are a few of the Julian apple-picking pics. G had a blast, and so did Amy and I. He ate so many apples! Sometimes 3 at a time!

And he LOVED the apple pie! Especially with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite part as well. :)

In other Grady news......
He is still "hoarding." He may seriously be on the show "Hoarders" someday. PS- I can't stand that show! The boy takes all kinds of random things everywhere with him. He likes to bring a purse or bag with him in the car with all his stuff. This stuff may include but is not limited to: toys, sippy cups, hair ties, bracelets, sunblock, books, an empty glue stick, water bottle caps, and socks. And his crib is FULL at night. We now have I think 6 stuffed animals, 2 blankies, and one big blanket that he double checks are there before going "ni-ni." Although I must say, since he has all of these friends now, we have no trouble putting him down at night or naptime anymore. He actually asks to go "ni-ni" and tries to climb in the crib. What a relief after what we have been through in the past.....hope this phase sticks around awhile!

This particular night we brought a balloon and plastic bowl to bed with us as well as his normal entourage.

Last but not least, he had his 18 month check-up last week. He's 25 pounds (25 percentile) and 35.5 inches (95th percentile). His basketball coa.... I mean DAD, was very pleased that his height has now officially gone off the chart. :) All in all, he's doing great! We have one healthy and active boy our hands!
