Grammy Visits & Labor Day Weekend

Grammy came to visit for 4-day weekend the last weekend of August. It was so nice to have her here- and Grady REALLY enjoyed it. He would lock her in his room and wouldn't let me in. He wanted Grammy all to himself!

Grammy brought us a really cool ice cream maker which we've had lots of fun experimenting with. Our fav so far= peanut butter cup! Thanks Grammy, we love it!

Milkshakes at the Corvette Diner. Ice cream seemed to be the theme of the weekend! That's what grandmas are for, right?

The following weekend (Labor Day) we had Jeff and Kenzi come stay with us, and aunts, cousins, etc. came to meet Kendall and BBQ on Saturday. We had a great time with everyone.

On Sunday we hit up Peter Piper Pizza, which was a huge hit with Grady.... and actually, we all had fun playing games. Grandpa had fun getting to watch Kendall. :)


Then Monday we headed out to the Padres vs. Giants baseball game. It was a big weekend for little miss Kendall! But she had fun and was so good like always.



We discovered just how much Grady loves baseball. He watched that entire game, ate peanuts, and cheered the Giants on with his daddy. He was as happy as could be. He even cried when we had to leave. I think we'll definitely need to hit up some more games. Too bad the season's almost over!
