Visitors!

OK, before I finally post this blog- which I have been working on finishing for days now- I just want to say how thankful I am for electricity. I do not have any idea how people survived without it. Last night San Diego and much of Southern Cali was without power for quite some time. For us it was 3:45pm- 10:30pm, and we were preparing ourselves for much longer. It wouldn't have been so bad except for yesterday it was over one hundred degrees, and we had a very excited 2 year-old and cranky newborn on our hands. It was an interesting night. But Derek didn't have to go to work today because of it, and now we have power, so everything's OK for us now!


I've got some catching up to do with blogging, but the biggest reason that it's so hard for me to blog now is that every time I get on the computer, Grady wants to play on starfall.com ( a website that teaches letters and sounds, etc). He has mastered the mouse and part of the keyboard, and now knows most of his letters! Which is awesome, but has been detrimental to our family blog. He also does not nap anymore.... so mommy computer time is rare!

OK, here we go...

New baby= Time for visitors! Kendall & Grady have gotten a good amount of visitors the past few weeks. It's been fun for all of us, and I think especially Grady, who has loved all of the extra attention and the ridiculous number of gifts he has gotten. Here's some pics of Kendall's doting visitors.
