He said there was a leak under the slab. I was a bit panicked that he cut a hole in the wall, but that was just the beginning.
Kendall had been intrigued with the whole thing. We told her that Grady's room was "sick" and that the men were helping to make it better. That seemed to pretty much pacify her, but she's still always asking us about Grady's room and if its better. Luckily, it almost is. We just need to do some painting and carpet shampooing this weekend. Hopefully Grady's room will be healthy again soon and G will be back to sleeping in his own bed!
The next day men showed up with jackhammers. Now I was really anxious. For a good two hours they worked in Grady's room and left behind a hole in the dirt. Luckily Grady was at school, but Kendall and I had to hide in the backyard and try to play. She got sick of the noise by the end and just hid on my lap.

OH NO! I'm so sorry about all that - its like our basement flood, but worse! Sorry you had to dig holes and fix things... and spend money on getting things back to how they were! Uggg! :(
