After a mellow 4th of July of BBQing and hanging out, we left for a 2 week road trip up to Napa, Paso Robles, and Goleta.
First up was Napa, where we got to spend some time with the Stephens fam and go to 6 Flags with the cousins!
Everyone had a blast, and it was really cute to watch them interact with their cousins who are just about the same ages.
While up north, we got to see more cousins in Sacramento, and had a great time having a sleepover at Jen and Garrett's house. We would have liked the kids to have slept a but more, but the adult cousin hangout time was great!
Grammy took us to a very cool winery that is built like an authentic Italian castle. The adults and the kids all equally enjoyed it!

After Napa we headed down to Paso Robles to meet our new nephew/cousin, Aiden!
We got a good four days in with the Dake fam, hanging out with baby, playing games, catching up, and trying to escape the July heat of Paso.
We went to Cayucas, the closest beach, to enjoy the 30 degree dip in temperature, and to take Aiden on his first field trip to the beach!
I definitely tried to get my fill of baby-auntie time while we were there. I really miss/ don't miss having a baby! :) Aiden is such a cutie though, and it was fun to see Jeff and Kenzi as Mama and Daddy now! Love them!
Next stop was camping at Refugio State Beach in Goleta with my parents. This was a step up from the last camping trip since they have a trailer. The kids slept in the trailer with grandma and grandpa, and D and I slept in a tent. Although the weather was a bit dreary, we had fun relaxing and riding bikes!
My college friend, Sarah (who lives nearby in Santa Barbara), came to the beach to hangout with us. It was so good to see her and her boys!
