Bake Day 2010

We had our annual family Bake Day last Sunday at my Aunt Lainie and Uncle Ed's house. So much fun as always, but even more fun now that Grady really understands.... well kind of understands. He understands eating cookies, but not quite decorating them. We had a great time with the family eating- I mean baking at Bake Day!

The whole crew! Next time G's got to get up front... can you find him?

Grady helped me prepare the day before by assisting in the making of the Snickerdoodles. This will have to become our tradition together, because boy did we have fun.

A little pre-cookie decorating activity for the kiddos.
And then the main event! Grady really enjoyed the icing and eating the heads off about 7 different gingerbread men.
Hard at work.
Boys table- which included Star Wars cookies.
Girls table-which didn't!
Checking to make sure the cookies taste OK. They did! Oh, and Don't you love Derek's pretty pink chair?
In the kitchen!
Kenzi and her mom with wax paper from the early 80s?
Jeff even helped this year! Think he was trying to impress his future mother-in-law??? Just kidding Jeff- a little bit.
The newly engaged couple! Quite possibly their first picture together! haha! Love you Tara and Mando!
Ad in conclusion, Grady giving his grandma love, but also flipping off the camera. I think that boy had too much sugar!!! :)
Hope everyone's enjoying some holiday cookies this holiday season!
